Church is chosen for Miner-Ragan late May wedding

YOUNGSTOWN — Plans for the upcoming marriage of Kalah Marie Miner, daughter of Larry and Pamela Miner, and John Anthony Ragan, son of John T. and Annette Ragan, all of Youngstown, are being announced by her parents.

The engaged couple will be married in an open ceremony that will take place at 1:30 p.m. May 30 at Disciples Christian Church, Boardman. Their evening reception will be by invitation at St. Mary’s Assumption Social Center.

Miss Miner graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and is certified in advanced cardiovascular life support and basic life support. She is a screening professional with Health Fitness Corp. and an exercise physiologist in cardiac rehab at Humility of Mary Health Partners.

Mr. Ragan is an assistant manager at Carter-Jones Lumber Co., a security guard at the Chevrolet Centre, and a high school football official.
