Advance Auto Parts opens new store in Salem

SALEM — Advance Auto Parts has opened its first store in Salem at 2842 E. State St.

Berta Sample is the store general manager and works with six others. A 34-year veteran of the automotive and retail sales industries, Sample has been with the company for four months. Fred Price is the assistant manager and has been with Advance Auto Parts for 10 years.

Dr. Iaderosa installed as president of dental society

YOUNGSTOWN — Boardman dentist Dr. Gregory Iaderosa recently was installed as 2009 president of the Corydon Palmer Dental Society. He succeeds Dr. James Kozlow.

Dr. Iaderosa is a graduate of John Carroll University and The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. He completed externships at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Chillicothe and with the Coast Guard Academy in New York City. He also completed a one-year residency at University Hospital in Columbus, returning to Boardman in 1990 to practice restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He recently acquired the Salem practice of Dr. Robert Wright.
