2 pedestrians arrested
YOUNGSTOWN — Police arrested two people after they found them walking in the street, not on the sidewalk, in the 40 block of West Laclede Avenue at about 12:41 a.m. Sunday.
A search of Norman Levell Carter, 33, of the 5000 block of Oak Street Extension in Coitsville, yielded a broken glass crack pipe, two empty crack bags and two pieces of smoked “chore boy.” He was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
His companion, Robin G. Nicholas, 37, of the 3700 block of Mohawk Avenue, was arrested on two active warrants through Mahoning County for driving under suspension.
Both were taken to the Mahoning County jail.
