MAHONING COUNTY

Celtic Healthcare offers hot, nutritious meals at noon weekdays at nine locations in Mahoning County for people 60 or older and their spouses, regardless of age. Reservations are required three days in advance, and transportation is available. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Home-delivered meals are also available for seniors homebound due to illness, injury or handicap.

Wednesday, March 18: Chicken Parmesan with tomato sauce and provolone cheese, lima beans, corn, Italian bread and margarine, apricot halves, birthday cake, and milk.

Thursday, March 19: Egg omelet with cheese sauce, sausage links zesty quarter potatoes, unsweetened cinnamon applesauce, pineapple juice, blueberry muffin and milk.

Friday, March 29: Breaded fish square on a hamburger bun with tartar sauce, zucchini with tomatoes, haluski, gelatin with fruit, and milk.

Saturday, March 21: cold cut sandwich on a hamburger bun with mayonnaise and mustard, bag of carrots with ranch dressing, fresh orange, apple juice.

Monday, March 23: Meatball splash on a hot dog bun, cauliflower, french green beans, apple juice and milk.

Tuesday, March 24: Pork loin with gravy, zesty potatoes, succotash, mandarin oranges, wheat bread with margarine, and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers older people a well-balanced meal and an opportunity to share fellowship weekdays at 12 locations in Trumbull County. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. Any person 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over is eligible to attend. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.25 per meal.
