• Boardman South Chapter 4545, AARP, will meet at 11:30 a.m. April 2 at Holiday Inn South in Boardman with Elmer Haidle presiding. The menu choice is baked ham or deep-fried scrod; cost is $13.50. GIRARD SENIORS
• Girard Seniors will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the center, 16 N. State St., Girard. Members are asked to take candy for Easter baskets for the needy to be distributed by Emmanuel Center. Following the meeting pizza will be served. For reservations call (330) 545-9629.
HAPPY WANDERERS
• Phil Stiner will speak on gardening when the Happy Wanderers meet at 11 a.m. Friday at the Corner House Christian Church. Members are to take a sack lunch, coffee and tea provided. The hospitality committee will be Lucille Hlas, Verda Tucker and Joan Aeppli. Greeters will be Flo and Gene Shilling, Marilyn Spellman, Mary Humenny and Audrey Creed. Those whose last names begin with A-L are asked to take cookies.
