Garden Forum offers horticulture scholarship

YOUNGSTOWN — The Garden Forum of the Greater Youngstown Area Inc. is offering a horticulture scholarship. Students of horticulture are encouraged to apply for the $500 award.

The applicant must reside in Mahoning or a surrounding county and plan to begin studies in the fall of 2009 or be enrolled in a post-secondary program.

The student may attend any accredited college or university in the United States.

The deadline to submit an application is June 1.
