Explorers to host dinner at Petersburg fire station

PETERSBURG — Explorer/Learning for Life Post 499, a part of Greater Western Reserve Boy Scout Council, will host a pasta dinner beginning at 11:30 p.m. March 29 at Fire Station 22, state Route 170.

Donations will be accepted for the dine-in or carry-out meals of salad, bread, desserts, beverages and all-you-can-eat pasta. Proceeds will help buy equipment for the Explorers.

The Explorers are young volunteers, from 10 to 21 years of age, who are certified in CPR and first aid, and are learning through first-hand experience during fire and EMS calls in Springfield Township.
