• Austintown Friends of the Library will meet at 10 a.m. Monday at the community room of the Austintown library. The speaker will be Brenda Rider, founder of A Way With Words Foundation. Refreshments will be served. Guests are welcome.
• College Club of Sharon will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at the fellowship hall of First Presbyterian Church, 600 E. State St., Sharon, Pa. Speaking on her experiences while hiking the Appalachian Trail will be Merryann Groves, retired schoolteacher. The hospitality committee will be Irene Perman, Marlene Renwick, Olivia Lazor and Babs Davis.
