YWCA seeks entries from women for its annual juried art show
YOUNGSTOWN — The YWCA of Youngstown is accepting entries for its Women Artists: A Celebration annual art show, which will take place July 11-26 at Butler North, next to the Butler Institute of American Art, 524 Wick Ave.
Women artists 18 and older are eligible to enter original work, including painting, drawing, graphics, photography, sculpture, fiber, ceramics, metal work, and computer-generated art. The show will accept CD or slide entries only. There is a maximum of five entries per artist and a nonrefundable fee of $7 per entry. Deadline for entries is April 20.
Kimberly Koller-Jones, executive director of Hoyt Institute of Fine Arts in New Castle, Pa., will be the juror. Approximately $1,000 in merit prizes will be awarded.

A seminar will be Saturday at Youngstown State University's Bliss Hall, Room 4061, to teach artists how to burn/copy a CD of their artwork. The charge is $35. Call the YWCA to register.
