Reminder: Friday is deadline to pay first half Mahoning County real estate taxes

YOUNGSTOWN — Friday is the last day to pay first half Mahoning County real estate taxes without penalty.

Payments will be accepted from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the county treasurer’s office, 120 Market St., or at certain local banks during their normal business hours.

Any payment mailed with a Friday postmark will be considered on time. There is a 10 percent penalty assessed if payments are received after Friday.

Checks should be made payable to Lisa A. Antonini, Mahoning County Treasurer.
