Pavlik to fight Mora this summer

Middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik will likely make his third title defense against Sergio Mora in either late June or July, possibly in Atlantic City, according to a report from BoxingScene.com.

Pavlik, who defeated Marco Antonio Rubio last month at the Chevrolet Centre, has not yet met with Arum to finalize the deal.

Mora, a former winner of the TV series "The Contender," is the No. 6 contender at junior middleweight and the matchup is not likely to excite fight fans who had been hoping for Pavlik to fight either WBA champion Felix Sturm or IBF champion Arthur Abraham.
