Jillian Schlegel to be July bride of Ryan Janiel

POLAND — The engagement of Jillian Ashley Schlegel and Ryan Richard Janiel, both of 1105 Willowbrook Road, New Castle, Pa., and plans for their summer wedding are being announced by her mother, Terry Schlegel, 61 Alverne Drive.

Parents of the prospective groom are Sandra Genareo, 2521 Willowhurst Circle, New Castle, and Randy Janiel Sr., 1825 Colonial Drive, New Castle.

The couple will exchange nuptial vows during an open ceremony at 2 p.m. July 3 at First Assembly of God in New Castle. Their evening reception will be by invitation at The Embassy in Youngstown.

The bride-elect, also a daughter of the late Scott Schlegel, is an admissions representative with ITT Technical Institute in Youngstown. She graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and minor in communications.

The future groom graduated magna cum laude from Slippery Rock University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a double major in business management and human resource management. He is general manager of Fastenal Company in New Castle.
