Jobs at former DHL facilitySFlbWILMINGTON — Ohio will provide $5.2 million to a new aircraft maintenance company that plans to create 430 jobs at an air cargo facility losing shipping company DHL. DHL’s pullout from Wilmington is expected to mean a devastating loss of 8,000 jobs in the city of 12,000 about 30 miles southeast of Dayton. The new company will be a subsidiary of Air Transport Services Group, which sorts and flies cargo at Wilmington for DHL. The state support announced by Lt. Gov. Lee Fisher on Tuesday includes a tax credit, training grants and a low-interest loan to complement $5.9 million in private money.
