CANFIELD CITY

Feb. 27

Theft: An 18-year-old Youngstown male student was arrested for theft of an MP-3 player from a Campbell student at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road.

March 3

Burglary: A Cherry Hill Court woman reported that money had been taken from a vehicle parked inside her garage.

March 7

Drug abuse: Police arrested a 26-year-old Lisbon man on charges of drug abuse, possessing and concealed after they found marijuana on him.

March 8

Short-change artist: Employees reported a man in his 30’s, short-changed them at Perkins Restaurant, 587 E. Main Street and the BP gas station, 599 E. Main Street. Both locations were short-changed $20 each.

AUSTINTOWN TOWNSHIP

March 2

Drug offense: A Youngstown man was arrested for possession of rolling papers at Idaho Road and Woodhurst Drive.

Theft: Money and a debit card were stolen from a vehicle at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Aggravated menacing: Threats were made at a home in the 3000 block of Meanderwood Drive.

Attempted breaking and entering: A shed door was damaged at a home in the 5000 block of Lou Ida Boulevard.

Bad check: A vehicle was purchased with a check that came back with insufficient funds at Westgate Ford, 3680 LeHarps Road.

Theft: A wallet and it’s contents were taken at Infocision, 5740 Interstate Boulevard.

Criminal damaging: The rear hatch on a vehicle was dented at a home in the 4000 block of New Hampshire Court.

March 3

Theft: Numerous unauthorized charges were made on a debit card in excess of $550 at a home in the 3000 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: A man reported a Fed-Ex delivery made to his apartment in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Court was stolen.

Theft: A refrigerator was stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Staatz Drive by a previous tenant.

Recovered property: A blue Mongoose bicycle was recovered in the 3000 block of Nassau Court.

Theft: Three guitars were reported missing from a home in the 2000 block of Westminister Avenue.

March 4

Bad checks: Four rent checks were returned for insufficient funds at a rental in the 1000 block of DeHoff Drive.

Theft: Jewelry was stolen from a home in the 100 block of S. Inglewood Ave.

Burglary: There were no signs of forced entry in a burglary at a home in the 1000 block of Ohltown Road.

Theft: Carbon steel pipe was stolen from RB Fabricators, Inc., 4021 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A man is a suspect in a theft at Phoenix House, 850 N. Meridian Road.

Theft: Items were missing from a home in the 6000 block of Yorktown Lane, but there were no signs of forced entry.

Attempted breaking and entering: Damage was done to the south main door but no entry was gained at WRTK-Radio, 5370 W. Webb Road.

Aggravated robbery: A gunman on a bicycle robbed Dollar Tree, 6000 Mahoning Ave. of a deposit bag.

Criminal damaging: Damage was done to a vehicle with a sharp object at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

March 5

Theft: A GPS system was stolen from a vehicle at a home in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.

Auto theft: A 1993 Saturn was stolen at Austintown Pawn, 3700 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A woman was arrested for theft at Wal-Mart and released on a summons.

March 6

Theft: A purse was stolen at the Go Go Cabaret, 5455 Clarkins Drive.

Recovered property: A red men’s bicycle was recovered at a home in the ten block of N. Four Mile Run Road.

Recovered property: Possible misuse of a debit card was reported at Walgreen’s, 40 N. Meridian Road.

Breaking and entering: Furniture was taken from a vacant house in the 1000 block of Woodland Trace Street.

Disorderly conduct: A man was issued a summons for disorderly conduct at Evans and Mahoning avenues.

March 7

Theft: Unauthorized charges were made on a debit account at Home Savings and Loan, 4259 Kirk Road.

Criminal damaging: The right front door of a vehicle was damaged in the parking lot of Westchester Apartments, 4843 Westchester Drive.

Felonious assault: An 11-year-old and 15-year-old were harassed and struck by a 42-year-old male on Benton Avenue.

Theft: Two women were arrested and jailed on charges of felony theft at Wal-Mart.

Criminal damaging: A car window was damaged at a home in the 400 block of Forest Hill Drive.

Theft: A woman is suspected of stealing $4,330 from her employer at the Lotto Shack, 4447 Mahoning Ave.

Drug offense: Three Youngstown men were arrested on drug charges at N. Four Mile Run Road and Oakwood Avenue. Charges included: one man, drug paraphernalia; a second man, drug paraphernalia and a third man, possession of marijuana.

March 8

Drug offense: A Youngstown man was issued a summons for possession of marijuana in the 1700 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: A Smith and Wesson model 60 revolver was stolen from a home in the 2000 block of Breezewood Drive.

Breaking and entering: An 18-year-old man and two juveniles were arrested for breaking and entering WRTK Radio, 5370 W. Webb Road.
