Retreat workshops to address immortality

YOUNGSTOWN — Now Creations will sponsor its annual retreat, “Enlightment and Immortalilty,” from 1 p.m. March 28 to noon March 29 at the Ursuline Center, 4280 Shields Road.

The retreat will include four workshops and meditations, “The Metaphysics of Immortality,” “Self-imposed Restrictions to Immortality,” “The Activity of Immortality” and “The Characteristics of Immortality.”

The cost is $95 a person for workshop and meals, $135 a person for workshop, meals and overnight accommodations and $230 per couple for workshop, meals and overnight.

Participants, who should wear casual clothes, should bring personal snacks and beverages, a snack to share and a notebook. Assistance with the fees is available. Call (330) 783-0387.
