Lenten mission focuses on faith, hope, love

BOARDMAN — The Christian Formation Commission at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 7345 Westview Drive, will have a Lenten mission with the theme of faith, hope and love from 1Corinthians 13:13.

The Rev. Nicholas Shori, pastor of St. Paul the Apostle Church in New Middletown, will speak March 16 on faith.

The Rev. John Jerek, pastor of St. John the Baptist Church in Campbell, will speak March 23 on hope.

The Rev. Edward Noga, pastor of St. Patrick Church in Youngstown, will speak March 30 on love.

The programs will begin with a soup and bread dinner at 6 p.m. in the social hall followed by the presentation at 6:30 in the church. A closing prayer service will be at 7.

Participants are asked to donate a nonperishable food item or paper product for the church food pantry.
