Learn to be grateful on Super Saturday

BOARDMAN — St. James’ Episcopal Church, 7640 Glenwood Ave., will host its second free Super Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. March 14 for children who have completed kindergarten through grade six.

The theme will be “Learning to be Grateful and Thankful, and Showing it by Being Generous.” This Super Saturday event was inspired by the book “Grateful: A Song of Giving Thanks” by John Bucchino from the Julie Andrews Collection. Activities will include storytelling, games, crafts, a discussion, and a question and answer period. Children also will learn to sing a portion of the song “Grateful.” Lunch will be provided.

Parents and grandparents may register their children for the event by calling the church office at (330) 758-2727. Registration is limited; the deadline to register is Tuesday.
