AAUW meeting will be Thursday

YOUNGSTOWN — The American Association of University Women, Youngstown Branch, will join the United Nations USA (local chapter), the League of Women Voters of Greater Youngstown, and the Altrusa Club of Youngstown in a celebration of International Women’s History Month. The organizations will meet Thursday at the gathering room of Park Vista, 1216 Fifth Ave., where AAUW will have a business session at 4:30 p.m., a social gathering will be at 5:30, and dinner will be at 6.

The speaker will be Sumedha Sethi, a biology major at Youngstown State University, whose theme will be “Changing Lives of Indian Women.” Reservations for the dinner ($12) are required. For reservations or more information call (330) 744-4846 or (330) 743-2710.
