Deadline approaches for ATHENA nominations

YOUNGSTOWN — Nominations for the 2009 ATHENA Award are due by March 20.

The award, which is sponsored by The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber and The Vindicator, will be presented May 21. It recognizes business and professional woman for their achievements, community service and support for other professional women. Free workshops target handling stress, losses

WARREN — Warren-Catholic Charities Regional Agency will present free workshops on coping with stress, a loss of self- esteem and job loss at 1 p.m. March 23 and 30. Sessions will be at its office at 175 Laird Ave. N.E. The one-hour sessions will be conducted by Catholic Charities staff. Registration is encouraged by calling (330) 744-3320.
