Warren library board reorganizes, with Ellen Dieter chosen president
WARREN — During its February meeting the Warren- Trumbull County Public Library Board of Trustees reorganized for the 2009 season by choosing a slate of officers.
Chosen were Ellen Dieter, president; James Duff, vice president; and Lillie Johnson, secretary, who will serve on the board with Donald Emerson Jr., Franklin Manios, James D. McFarland and Michael McGee.
Four board members are appointed by county commissioners and three by the judges of Trumbull County Common Pleas Court. All appointees serve unpaid, seven-year terms.
McGee, a Cortland resident, is beginning a seven-year term since being appointed by the judges. He holds a degree in architecture from Ohio State University and a juris doctor degree from John Marshall Law School and is a partner at Harrington, Hoppe and Mitchell Law Firm. He is a member of Warren Rotary Club and St. Vincent de Paul Society and serves on the boards of Packard Music Hall Foundation, Lifelines Mission, and Community Solutions Association, where he is chairman.
Board meetings are at 4 p.m. the second Thursday of each month at the main library, 444 Mahoning Ave. NW.
