Moran rolls 599 at state tournament

LANCASTER — Boardman High School junior Ciera Moran rolled 599 to place third in the individual standings at the state girls bowling tournament at Tiki Lanes.

Moran won the district tournament with a 711 and finished just 10 pins behind in the state meet.

As a freshman, Moran qualified for the state as an individual and she placed sixth there last winter.

The Spartans took fourth place overall as a team.
