AKRON — St. Sebastian Catholic Church was the setting at 2 p.m. Oct. 25 for the wedding of Katie Hoskins and David Frank, both of 1571 A Treetop Trail. The Rev. William Karg officiated.
After a reception at Zwisler Hall at St. Sebastian’s, the daughter of Charles and Julie Hoskins, 2635 Christine Lane, Youngstown, and son of James and Joan Frank, 1544 Pinecone NW, North Canton, left for a honeymoon at Riviera Maya, Mexico. They live in Akron.
The bride’s strapless white chiffon gown featured an inverted front pleat and chapel train, and was embellished with silver embroidery and bugle beads.
A chocolate brown gown with a champagne sash was worn by Jessica Nettle, the honor attendant. The bridesmaids, Denise Frank and Christine Garber, sisters of the groom, wore similar gowns with cinnamon sashes. Flower girl was the groom’s cousin, Lauren Nieporte.
Best man was Drew Clark, and groomsmen were Kasey Kelly, Thom Willey, and the bride’s brother, Matthew Hoskins. The groom’s cousin, Jake Nieporte, was ring bearer.
The bride, a kindergarten teacher with Ohio Distance and Electronic Learning Academy in Akron, earned a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from the University of Akron, where she is pursuing a master’s in elementary education with a focus on literacy.
The groom graduated from the University of Akron with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and is a civil engineer with the GPD Group.
