Brockmeyer, Sledd wedding to be June 20

CANFIELD — A June wedding is planned by Makenzie Alyse Brockmeyer and Michael Sledd, both of 3804 59th St., St. Louis, Mo., whose engagement is announced by parents of the future groom, John and Cornelia Sledd, 3403 42nd St.

The bride-elect is a daughter of Steve Brockmeyer, 907 Ruskin Ave., Edwardsville, Ill., and Carol Brockmeyer, 7 Pheasant Trail, Glen Carbon, Ill.

The couple will exchange nuptial vows during an open wedding they have planned for 4 p.m. June 20 at King of Kings Lutheran Church in Creve Coeur, Mo.

Invitations will be extended for an evening reception at Orlando’s in St. Louis.

Miss Brockmeyer graduated from St. Louis University with a master’s degree in physical therapy. She is a therapist with St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

Mr. Sledd is a physical therapist with Pro Rehab in St. Louis. He earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Youngstown State University and a master’s in physical therapy from St. Louis University.
