Giveaway to fight hunger

YOUNGSTOWN — Mahoning United Methodist church, 2214 Mahoning Ave., is participating in philanthropist Alan Shawn Feinstein’s 12th annual $1 Million Giveaway to Fight Hunger. The foundation will divide $1 million proportionally among eligible hunger-fighting agencies.

Donations or nonperishable food items (valued at $1 per item or pound) can be taken to the church until April 30 and will be counted in this year’s hunger challenge. For additional information call (330) 793-6552.
