Major fundraiser will end with Fitness Festival

BOARDMAN — For the first time, the Partner of Youth Campaign, conducted as a major fundraiser by the YMCA of Youngstown, will end with a Fitness Festival. The event will be Saturday at the Davis Family Branch in Boardman.

The festival will combine charitable giving and invigorating exercise in a new way.

Sponsored by St. Elizabeth Wellness Center, the festival will feature four hours of fitness classes, in which participants raise money for each hour of activity. Each class will offer a mix of Zumba, yoga, tai chi, cardio kickboxing, and aquatics. The public is encouraged to register at the branch and to raise $50 per hour of activity. Registration is open until the event begins. Free child care will be available.
