Warriors Inc. sets community events

YOUNGSTOWN — Warriors Inc. invites community residents to join the organization’s chess club and to attend its weekly event Hooked on Fishing Not on Drugs.

The chess club meets every Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Newport Branch of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County at the corner of Market Street and Midlothian Boulevard.

The fishing group meets every Thursday from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Hope Building, 2733 Market St., Youngstown.

Warriors Inc. is always looking for volunteers to help with its numerous programs and also needs volunteers for its Unity in the Community Parade in April and its chess tournament in June. For more information on programs or to become a volunteer call (330) 783-5440.
