ANTIQUE SHOWS
• Howland Community Church, 198 Niles-Cortland Road S.E., Warren, will have its 47th annual antiques show and sale from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 27 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 28. The donation is $3. Marcel Ulrich will be on hand to conduct appraisals from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 27. Appraisals will be $5 each and limited to two items per person.
BAZAARS
• Salem Memorial Building Association will host a spring bazaar with more than 50 tables of arts, crafts and baked goods from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. March 13 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 14. Vendors can rent a table with chairs for $25 for both days (plus one donated item for a Chinese auction). For rental information, call (330) 332-5512. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 13 and from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. March 14. Free vendor parking is available. Checks or money orders should be payable to Salem Memorial Building.
BINGO AND CARD PARTIES
• Austintown Eagles Auxiliary has scheduled a card party, bingo and Chinese auction from 2 to 5 p.m. March 22 to raise money for scholarships. The public is invited to the event, which will take place at 1655 S. Raccoon Road. Admission price of $5 per person includes a spaghetti dinner. • Sacred Heart Church, 400 Lincoln Park Drive, Youngstown, has scheduled a Texas Hold’em poker tournament for March 28 at the church with registration beginning at 2:30 p.m. Admission is $100 for 3,300 chips. Pay in advance by March 14 and receive $300 extra chips. The entry fee includes a home-cooked dinner at 3:30 and beverage. Games begin at 4:30. • A card and bingo party will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. March 22 at St. Mary Church, state Route 46, Mineral Ridge. Tickets are $5 each and are available only in advance; there will be no tickets at the door. Lunch and a chance for a variety of door prizes are included. DANCES
• USA Dance will give free tango lessons when it meets March 15 at the Orthodox Center, 1025 N. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown. Free tutoring for beginners and basics will be offered at 5 p.m. followed at 5:30 with tango lessons by Lyndall McPhail. From 6:15 to 9, there will be open dancing. The public is invited, with or without partners. Admission is $5 for dance members, $10 for guests and $2.50 for students.
FLEA MARKETs
• Youngstown Model Railroad Association will present a toy train and model railroad flea market featuring 150 dealer tables and an operating three rail “O” gauge layout from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at McMenamy’s Banquet Hall, 325 Warren-Youngstown Road, Niles. NIGHTS AT THE RACES
• Our Lady of Hungary Church, 545 N. Belle Vista Ave., will sponsor its fourth annual Night at the Races at the church hall on Saturday. Doors open at 5 p.m., and the first post is at 6. The donation is $5. Maverick, 50-50 and food are free. To attend, you must be at least 18.

• Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore, 480 Youngstown-Poland Road, Struthers, is open Wednesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The ReStore carries a wide variety of furniture, including a large selection of couches and many large metal professional office desks; used building materials such as doors, windows and sinks; hardware; plumbing; lighting; home decor items; large and small appliances; electronics; toys; books and much more. All items are sold at low discount prices. ReStore takes donations and sells to the public, all to benefit Habitat for Humanity’s home-building program. • Vendors are invited to participate in a Kids Stuff sale on March 21 at the Saxon Club, 710 Meridian Road, Austintown. Tables in an 8 by 8 foot space can be rented for $20. • Holy Family Home and School Alliance will host a reverse raffle March 21 at The Georgetown in Boardman. Each ticket is $75, and includes a raffle ticket, dinner and open bar. An additional dinner can be purchased for $25 with the purchase of a raffle ticket. The event begins at 6:30 p.m., dinner is at 7:30 and the raffle follows. The grand prize is $3,000. TRIPS
• Trumbull County Travel Club is inviting anyone over 18 years of age to travel with the club on two one-day excursions in April. On April 15 there will be a trip to Ferrante’s Lakeview Inn in Greensburg, Pa., for a luncheon followed by a performance by Cahal Dunne. The outing will cost $79 per person. On April 29 the trip will be to the Riverside Inn in Cambridge Springs, Pa., for lunch, a performance of “A Weekend Comedy” and tour of the inn. The cost is $58 per person.
