AKC dog competition will be Sunday in North Jackson

NORTH JACKSON — The fifth annual Conformation Fun Match competition for AKC registered dogs will take place next Sunday at the Youngstown All Breed Training Center, 11801 Mahoning Ave.

The building will open at 7 a.m., with limited grooming space for animals. Entries will be taken starting at 7:30; judging will start at 9. All breeds are welcome. Fee is $5 per dog.

Awards will be given for best in show in the junior puppy, senior puppy and adult categories. Herding, sporting and working groups will be judged first, with others to follow. Food will be available.
