Spring program planned at Park Vista community

YOUNGSTOWN — Park Vista Retirement Community, 1216 Fifth Ave., has planned a Spring Enrichment Program from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 24 in the Gathering Room.
A light lunch will be served. The program is free, but reservations are needed by March 17. Call (330) 746-2944, ext. 1552.
Following are the panelists and their topics:
• Vivian Barricella, director of education: “Thinking in Technicolor.” Learn the six styles of people and explore ways to communicate with them.
• Sue Gans, director of Mahoning Valley Senior Center. There’s a host of programs, classes, trips and support waiting for you at the senior center.
• Diana Garthwaite, church visitation director: “Respecting Choices,” a discussion of the how-tos of living wills and powers of attorney.
• Matt Good M.S. R.D., L.D., clinical dietitian: “Eat Your Way to a Longer Life,” tools to prevent disease and promote health through diet.
• Brett Stare, physical therapist: “Spring Into Fitness.” Prevent pain and injury by preparing your body for the extra outdoor activity ahead.
