Robertson-Reyes engagement is being announced

HUBBARD — Announcing the engagement of Ren e Marie Robertson and Ruben A. Reyes, both of Fayetteville, N.C., are parents of the bride-elect, Ronald and Kathy Robertson, 131 Princeton Ave.

The future groom is a son of Rafael Reyes of Fayetteville, and the late Kye Reyes.

Miss Robertson is a kindergarten teacher with Cumberland County Schools in Fayetteville. She graduated from Ashland University with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education.

Mr. Reyes graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and from Western Carolina University with a master’s degree in school psychology. He is the executive director of Exceptional Children Services for Cumberland County Schools.

Invitations will be extended for the wedding the couple have planned for 4 p.m. June 20 at St. John’s Episcopal Church, and for their reception that evening at Gates Four Golf and Country Club, both in Fayetteville.
