Company plans annual food and trade show
WARREN — Albert Guarnieri & Co. will have its 11th annual food and trade show from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Expo Center in Niles.

The show is expected to have more than 150 booths with manufacturer’s representatives from various phases of food service, including beverage, tobacco, candy, snacks, fundraising and equipment.
Youngstown company debuts online video game
YOUNGSTOWN — Epic Inventions, a Youngstown-based company, has launched EpicDuel, a new online video game.
The multiplayer, roll-playing game is available at www.EpicDuel.com for no charge and doesn’t require a download.
Epic Inventions was founded by Jonathan Duran, 24, who earned a master’s degree in business administration from Youngstown State University, and Bernard Schmalzried, 24, who earned a bachelor’s degree in art and technology from YSU.
Canine patrols added to Eastwood security
NILES — The Eastwood Mall has added canine patrols, primarily on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Future patrols will occur on a regular basis, the mall said.
The dogs will assist security patrols and have been trained by Tri-State Canine Services of Bazetta Township for general security and drug detection.

Security firm to provide services in Cleveland
WARREN — OSS Inc., a Warren-based security firm, has been hired to provide security guard services for the 200 Public Square parking facility in Cleveland, which is operated by Standard Parking. OSS provides more than 2,000 security guards for more than 1,000 customers in three states.
Function Junction opens in Boardman
BOARDMAN — Function Junction has opened at 1280 Boardman-Canfield Road, Suite 6. Jean McConnell, owner of Pinnacle Health Concepts, opened her first location in the downtown YMCA in 2004 with the goal of providing customized physical therapy. Function Junction is her second location, with Dave Denton being the director. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Ohio Physical Therapy Association.
