MAHONING COUNTY

Celtic Healthcare offers hot, nutritious meals at noon weekdays at nine locations in Mahoning County for people 60 or older and their spouses, regardless of age. Reservations are required three days in advance, and transportation is available. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Home-delivered meals are also available for seniors homebound due to illness, injury or handicap.

Wednesday, March 4: Sausage link with peppers and onions on a bun, potatoes, diced pears, and milk.

Thursday, March 5: Penne pasta with meatballs, French green beans, lettuce salad with Italian dressing, garlic bread, unsweetened fruit mix, pepperoni pizza, and milk.

Friday, March 6: Tuna mac salad, cottage cheese, unsweetened peach half, three bean salad, wheat roll with margarine, grape juice, and milk.

Saturday, March 7: Cold cuts on a hamburger bun, fresh fruit, coleslaw, macaroni salad with mustard and mayonnaise.

Monday, March 9: Ham with pineapple, twice baked potato, sliced carrots, wheat bread with margarine, fresh orange, and milk.

Tuesday, March 10: Chicken cacciatore, mashed potatoes, lima beans, rye bread with margarine, gelatine with fruit, and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers older people a well-balanced meal and an opportunity to share fellowship weekdays at 12 locations in Trumbull County. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. Any person 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over is eligible to attend. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.25 per meal.

Wednesday, March 4: Mild rope sausage on bun, with peppers and onions and ketchup, zesty potatoes, unsweetened pears, and angel food cake.

Thursday, March 5: Penne pasta with meatballs, French green beans, tossed salad with Italian dressing, garlic bread, and regular or unsweetened fruit mix.

Friday, March 6: Tuna mac salad, cottage cheese, unsweetened peach half, three bean salad, wheat roll with margarine, and grape juice.

Monday, March 9: Ham with pineapple, twice baked potato, sliced carrots, wheat bread with margarine, and an orange.

Tuesday, March 10: Chicken cacciatore, mashed potatoes, lima beans, rye bread with margarine, and gelatin with fruit.
