Hunts’ 50th anniversary is observed at Amish dinner with family members

NORTH JACKSON — Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hunt, 139 Liberty St., were the guests of honor at an Amish dinner served at 6 p.m. Jan. 9 at the home of a son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Deanne Hunt, on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.

Cohost for the family event was their daughter, Peggy Hunt O’Neill. Joining in the celebration were their two grandchildren, Jason and Kyle O’Neill.

The former Anna Mae Hood and Mr. Hunt were united in marriage on Jan. 9, 1959, at North Jackson Federated Church.

Mr. Hunt retired in 1990 from Copperweld Steel in Warren, where he was a millwright. Mrs. Hunt is a homemaker.
