Humility of Mary Health Partners has made several personnel moves.

Elisabeth Novakovich of Cortland has been appointed nurse manager of the emergency department at St. Joseph Health Center. Novakovich earned her diploma in nursing from Idabelle Firestone School of Nursing, her paramedic certification from St. Thomas Medical Center and a bachelor’s degree in applied science from Youngstown State University. She had been trauma coordinator at St. Joseph.

Brenda Luchs of Cortland has been appointed nurse manager of the emergency department at St. Elizabeth Health Center. Luchs earned her associate’s degree in nursing from Jameson Memorial School of Nursing and a bachelor’s degree in biology from Penn State University. She had been the clinical educator for emergency services and had also served as the injury prevention coordinator for trauma services.

Deidre M. Windom of Warren has been appointed director of human resources for St. Joseph Health Center and Hospice of the Valley. Windom earned a bachelor’s degree in human resource management from Geneva College. She had been the senior recruiter for HMHP.

PSYCHOLOGY

Dr. Lisa Wuyek, a clinical psychologist from Canfield, has accepted a position with the Johns Hopkins University Hospital in Baltimore. In addition to seeing individual clients and pursuing research, she is an instructor and supervisor for third-year psychiatry residents. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University and master’s and doctorate degrees from the University of Toledo.

LAW

Dean Talaganis has been named a partner in Atlanta-based Morris Hardwick Schneider, a real estate closing law firm. Talaganis is district president for the firm’s Ohio operations and managing attorney for the firm’s Cleveland office. He received a law degree from Capital University Law School and a bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University.

REAL ESTATE

Bill Baker of Canfield has joined Landmark Real Estate as a commercial real estate sales representative. He was originally licensed in California and has recently moved back to the area.
