Junior League plans fundraiser, holiday event

CANFIELD — The Junior League of Youngstown will kick off its Passport to Prizes fundraiser and host a Bean Bag Toss on Saturday at the annual Canfield on the Green at the square.

The Junior League’s Passports to Prizes booklets will be on sale at the white gazebo on the square. The Bean Bag Toss will be available after the parade and offer prizes until 4 p.m. The cost to play is $1 for four tosses.

The booklets cost $10 each and the purchaser will be eligible for one of 10 prize packages that range in value from $700 to $1,500. Passport booklets will be on sale throughout the summer and the 10 winners will be announced on Oct. 10.
