CANFIELD
June 20
Drug abuse: Police charged a 36-year-old Canton man with drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at West Main Street. Police found 1 gram of suspected marijuana and a brown wooden smoke pipe with marijuana residue.
June 21
Dangerous drug: Police arrested a 36-year-old Warren woman on a charge of possession of dangerous drugs at North Broad Street and Village Boulevard. Police found several pills on the woman.
Theft: The owner reported several miscellaneous items were missing, including a Blackberry cell phone, and over the past few days as well at a home in the 100 block of Surrey Lane.

Drug abuse: Police charged a 29-year-old Girard man with drug abuse, drug paraphernalia, possession of suspected marijuana, and a suspected marijuana cigarette at Fairground Boulevard.

Bad check: A Pennsylvania company contacted local police to report that a city company had written a check for $2,050 on an account that was frozen or blocked.

Counterfeit currency: A waitress at the Ice House Inn, 5516 W. Webb Road, reported receiving a $5 counterfeit bill as a tip over the course of the evening.
Theft: Police arrested a woman for theft at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
