Crash cuts off power

WARREN — A car accident caused a power outage in the northeast part of the city Sunday afternoon.

Warren Fire Department reported that a car hit a utility pole at 12:50 p.m., the driver was taken away in an ambulance, and power was out for the next four to five hours. Police said the driver suffered minor injuries.
