Verdineks observe 60th anniversary of their wedding

BOARDMAN — Frank Jr. and Elizabeth Verdinek of Boardman celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on June 25.

The couple were married on June 25, 1949, at Immaculate Conception Church in Washington, Pa.

They have two sons, Wayne (Bonnie), David (Sue), and four grandchildren, Jessica, Brent, Daniel and David Jr., and one great-grandchild, Aidan Michael.

Mrs. Verdinek retired from Sears in 1986, and Mr. Verdinek retired from Wean United Foundry in 1984. He is a World War II veteran of the United States Navy. The couple belong to St. Charles Church.
