SCOPE Howland Senior Center, 8273 High St. N.E., Warren, has scheduled the following: Monday, pinochle at 9, art class and cards at 10, yoga at 12:20, tap class at 2:30; Tuesday, boccie league at 8:30 a.m., cards at 10 a.m., bingo at 12:30 p.m., exercise class at 3, and boccie league at 5; Wednesday, Ohio Star Quilters at 9 a.m., cards at 10 and Red Hatters at 1 p.m.; Thursday, computer class at 10 a.m., needle arts at 10, Red Hatters at 12:30 p.m., line dancing at 3, boccie league at 5, and cards at 5:30; and Friday, golf at Vienna short holes at 8:30, line dancing at 11:30. Low impact fitness classes for anyone of any age interested in improving muscle strength, flexibility and endurance will be from 3 to 4 p.m. Tuesdays. Senior Independence Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, has planned the following: Monday, Men’s and Women’s Needlecraft Club at 8:30, yoga class at 10, and bridge at 1; Tuesday, oil painting, computer class at 10 and noon, exercise at noon, digital club at 2; Wednesday, watercolor class, and 500 cards at 1 p.m.; Thursday, Watch Our Weight and Woodcarvers at 9 a.m., exercises at noon, line dancing at 1 p.m., and beginner line dancing at 2; and Friday, Texas Hold’em at 1 p.m. A computer class for beginners will start at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Only six per class, and computers are provided. The membership fee is $12 for one year, and the cost for five classes (11‚Ñ2 hour per class) is $25. Total cost for the five-class course is $37.
