MAHONING COUNTY

Celtic Healthcare offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays at seven locations in Mahoning County for people 60 or older and their spouses, regardless of age. Reservations are required three days in advance, and transportation is available. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Home-delivered meals are also available for seniors homebound due to illness, injury or handicap.

Wednesday, July 1: Salisbury steak with mashed potatoes and gravy, whole kernel corn white bread with margarine, golden fresh apple, and milk.

Thursday, July 2: Jumbo hot dog on a bun with ketchup and mustard, baked beans, broccoli cuts, diced peaches, and milk.

Friday, July 3: Closed for 4th of July observance.

Saturday, July 4: Cold cut sandwich on a hamburger bun with mustard and mayonnaise, carrot bag with ranch dressing, fresh orange, apple juice, and milk.

Monday, July 6: Beef patty with mashed potatoes and gravy, brussels sprouts, white bread with margarine, fruited gelatin, and milk.

Tuesday, July 7: Chicken a la king, broccoli cuts, unsweetened scalloped apples, wheat bread with margarine, diced peaches, and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers older people a well-balanced meal and an opportunity to share fellowship weekdays at 12 locations in Trumbull County. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. Any person 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over is eligible to attend. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.25 per meal.

Wednesday, July 1: Salisbury steak with mashed potatoes and gravy, whole kernel corn white bread with margarine, golden apple, and milk.

Thursday, July 2: Jumbo hot dog on a bun with ketchup and mustard, baked bean quintet, broccoli cuts, diced peaches, and milk.

Friday, July 3: Closed for 4th of July observance.

Monday, July 6: Beef patty with mashed potatoes and onion gravy, brussels sprouts, white bread with margarine, fruited sweetened or unsweetened gelatin, and milk.

Tuesday, July 7: Chicken a la king, broccoli cuts, unsweetened scalloped apples, wheat bread with margarine, sweetened or unsweetened diced peaches, and milk.
