Adult Summer Reading Program. Prizes, contests and programs! Weekly prizes awarded to readers who review books and audiobooks.
Reader’s Theater. Students entering grades K-6 can join us to put on a play, 2-3 p.m. July 1.
Knit and Stitch Program. Learn basic knitting skills and create a simple project for yourself, 4-5 p.m. July 6 and 20. Yarn and needles are provided. For ages 10 and up. Please call to register.
Library Sprouts. 6-6:45 p.m. July 7, 14, 21, 28, for children ages 4-12. Kids plant a garden and tend it each week. Register anytime.
Games Design Workshop. For those entering grades 7-12 can register to attend three classes to design their own video game. We recommend attending all three sessions. 1-2 p.m. July 9, 16, and 23. Register anytime.
Family Time. Children ages 0-6 and their families may join us for fun stories, songs and games, 7 – 7:30 p.m. July 7, 14, 21, and 28. Please call to register.
Story Time. Children ages 2 1/2 to 5 and a caregiver are welcome to join us for stories, music and crafts, 10:30 – 11 a.m. July 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29. Please call to register.

Brew Basket Book Club. Meets at the Brew Basket on Broad Street. “Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons,” by Lorna Landvik will be discussed at 10 a.m. July 16.
NFPL Book Discussion Group. Will meet at 6:30 p.m. July 22 to discuss “The Ghost Map,” by Steven Johnson. Copies of the book may be borrowed from the library.
Anime ¥ Club. Will meet 2-4 p.m. July 25.
Meet & Eat! Recipe exchange and tasting! Turn in your favorite recipe entries by July 20. On July 27 you make your recipe and bring it to the taste test! There will be door prizes and a special prize for the best zucchini recipe. Call Library for details.
Pet Show. For patrons of all ages, 6:30-7:45 p.m. July 29. Welcome to bring a pet, or come and see the animals. All pets MUST be pre-registered and accompanied by an adult. Registration begins July. The library reserves the right to limit pets by number or size.
