Medcalf-Monroe wedding to be in Gates Mills

GIRARD — Timothy and MaryEllen Monroe, 1647 Keefer Road, are announcing plans for the upcoming marriage of their son, Timothy P. Monroe, and Kristen N. Medcalf, both of 780 Lauren Lane, Tallmadge.

Parents of the bride-to-be are Robert and Babette Medcalf, 3150 Peterboro Drive, Stow.

The couple have chosen St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Gates Mills for their 2 p.m. open wedding on Aug. 8.

Invitations will be issued for their evening reception at Executive Catering at Landerhaven in Mayfield Heights.

Miss Medcalf graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising and is pursuing a master’s in business administration. She is an assistant manager with Target Corp. in Massillon.

Mr. Monroe is a certified athletic trainer for Brush High School in Cleveland. He earned a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from KSU.
