Franjko-Minzes wedding will be Aug. 8 at church

NEW MIDDLETOWN — Announced by Karlo and Zora Franjko, 4439 E. Middletown Road, is the engagement of their daughter, Dr. Darla Franjko, and Lt. Matthew Minzes, both of 11208 Vista Sorrento Parkway, San Diego, Calif.

The future groom is a son of Patricia Minzes, 2705 Mangrum Place, Titusville, Fla., and the late Lewis Minzes.

The bride-to-be earned a doctorate in physical therapy from Wheeling Jesuit University in West Virginia. She is a contract therapist in San Diego.

Her fianc , a naval aviator in Miramar, Calif., has served with the U.S. Navy for seven years. He graduated from the University of Central Florida in Orlando with a bachelor’s degree in finance.

The couple have planned a wedding for 2:30 p.m. Aug. 8 at St. Paul the Apostle Church. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and for their evening reception at The Links at Firestone Farms.
