Corvette show, festival Sunday at Glenellen

NORTH LIMA — Glenellen Senior Living Community, 9661 Market St., will host a public Corvette show from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Mahoning Valley Corvette Club will display cars by the lake, where the Night Owls will present entertainment throughout the day. Refreshments will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and a strawberry festival will be from 1 to 3 p.m. There will be a 50/50 raffle. For more information call (330) 549-9661, ext. 401.

Our Fallen Officers Memorial Run is planned

YOUNGSTOWN— The 7th Annual Our Fallen Officers Memorial Run will rev up on July 1 in memory of Michael Hartzell, “1085.” Downtown’s Federal Plaza is the venue for the event, which will feature food, drinks, entertainment, and plenty of parking. The ride will take place rain or shine and costs $15 per rider and $10 per passenger. Registration will be taken from 9-11 a.m. at the Covelli Centre, 229 E. Front St. The opening ceremony will begin at 11:10 a.m., and the last cycle out will be at 11:30 a.m. This memorial run is sponsored by the Blue Knights of Youngstown XXVII and Lodge 28, Fraternal Order of Police.
