“Bye Bye Birdie.” Trumbull New Theater, 5883 Youngstown-Warren Road. Need six males and six females, age teen through 40s-50s. Also, many nonsinging parts and small singing roles and a chorus. MUSICIANS

Cleveland Philharmonic Orchestra. Auditions are ongoing for section strings (violin, viola, cello), substitute brass and percussion for the 2008-09 season. Rehearsals are 7:30-10 Thursdays at the Tri-C’s Metropolitan Campus Auditorium in downtown Cleveland. Audition requirements are one solo piece and one orchestral excerpt of your choice.
