3rd Ward public meeting on crime prevention is Thursday

YOUNGSTOWN — Councilman Jamael Tito Brown, D-3rd, is having a public meeting for 3rd Ward citizens at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Park Vista Gathering Room, 1216 Fifth Ave., to discuss crime prevention.

Police Chief Jimmy Hughes, city Prosecutor Jay Macejko and other law enforcement officials will discuss steps being taken to address crime and what citizens can do to protect themselves from crime.
