St. Michael guild reports flower show winners

CANFIELD — St. Michael Garden Guild is announcing the winners of its May 27 flower show at the parish center. The theme was “Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.”

Marlene Ditchey won the Best of Show in Design, and Pat Hoyle won Best of Show in Horticulture.

Blue ribbons for arrangements went to Carol Cartwright, Mary Ann Silvestri, Claudia DiRenzo, Ditchey, and Cookie Beeman.

Capturing blue ribbons in horticulture were Nancy Price, Jane Bolton, Margie Venal, Beeman, Ditchey, Silvestri, and DiRenzo.

Diana Mullins was the judge, and Cartwright, Beeman, Ditchey and Jeri Bertison assisted with placing arrangements. Marge Yerman presided.
