Moraine Trails Council honors Eagle Scouts

BUTLER, Pa. — On June 11 Moraine Trails Council, Boy Scouts of America, honored the 84 members of the 2008-2009 class of Eagle Scouts at the Atrium in Prospect.

Among those honored as Eagle Scouts were David M. Banko, Ryan J. Bentkowski, Eric W. Brandt, Joshua W. Court, David A. Dougherty, Kyle W. Eagleton, Tyler J. Lucas, Andrew J. Machemer Jr., Keith E. Stich, and Steven B. Totin, all from Lawrence County.

A Distinguished Eagle Award was presented to Dr. G. Warren Smith, former president of Slippery Rock University and current council president. The keynote speaker at the dinner meeting was Randy Grossman, former member of the Pittsburgh Steelers Football Team.
