A grape opportunity is open to winemakers

YOUNGSTOWN — Winemakers are invited to enter their homemade wines for judging at the Greater Youngstown Italian Festival on Aug. 2 on Federal Plaza. A grand prize of $200 will be awarded for the best wine, $100 for the runner-up, and $50 for the third-place winner.

Competitors may enter two bottles of wine in the competition, at a cost of $5 a bottle. To enter the contest, contact Bob Rubano, (330) 646-0102.The deadline is July 19.
