Drug abuse: Police arrested a 24-year-old North Canton woman on charges of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse after they found 48 grams of marijuana in plastic bags, a blue pill-bottle containing one generic painkiller and 2.5 generic nerve pills, a multicolored pipe with suspected marijuana residue, a digital scale, a metal grinder containing marijuana residue and an unidentified white capsule in a plastic bag.

June 15

Telecommunications harassment: A resident of the 2000 block of Oak Trace Drive reported receiving disturbing telephone calls.

Auto theft: A 1995 Oldsmobile Aurora was taken with the car keys in the 900 block of Compass West apartments.

Criminal damaging: Windows were broken on a vehicle at Westgate Boulevard and Woodmere Drive.

Theft: A CB radio was stolen from a semi at Polaris, 500 Victoria Road.

Criminal damaging: A door window was shattered at a home in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Court.

Theft: A pickup tailgate was stolen at star Motorcars, 220 S. Meridian Road.

Theft: $1,095 was withdrawn from an account at the OEPP Credit Union, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A car was hit with rocks in the 6000 block of New Road.

Theft: A TomTom GPS was stolen from a vehicle at a home in the 6000 block of Ruby Courts.

Theft: Currency and a GPS were stolen from a vehicle in the 6000 block of Ruby Courts.

Theft: Checks, a GPS and a mixer were reported stolen at a home in the 3000 block of Timber Lane.

June 16

Theft: A man is accused in a theft at home in the 100 block of Russell Avenue.

Criminal damaging: Six township road signs were spray-painted black.

Theft: $26 in gasoline was stolen at the BP gas station, at state Route 46 and Interstate 80.

Auto theft: A 1998 Chevrolet Blazer was stolen from Key Auto Brokers, 5317 Mahoning Avenue.

Theft: $50 in gasoline was stolen at Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Bad check: A man purchased a truck with a check for $8,303 on a closed account at Austintown Auto Sales, 5275 Mahoning Ave. and despite being contacted by the company, has not yet made restitution.

June 17

Telephone harassment: Obscene phone calls were reportedly received at a home in the 2000 block of S. Meridian Road.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle mirror was broken at Immaculate Heart of Mary, 4470 Norquest Blvd.

Criminal damaging: A man is a suspect in lawn damage at a home in the 1000 block of Collins Avenue.

Theft: A former employee at Austintown Pawn, 3700 Mahoning Ave., wrote and cashed false MoneyGrams totaling $3,854, and also wrote up receipts for a fictitious pawn in a former customer’s name.

Theft: Two men were arrested in the theft of clothes at Wal-Mart.

Theft: $20 in fuel was stolen at Country Fair, 1143 Canfield-Niles Road.

Drug offense: A woman was arrested at her home in the 6000 block of Fairview Road on charges of drug abuse, drug paraphernalia and possession of heroin.

June 18

Burglary: Prescription medication was stolen from a home in the 80 block of Kleber Avenue.

Burglary: A burglary was reported at a home in the 4000 block of Washington Square Drive.

Attempted theft: The front seat of an auto was damaged with a cigarette in an attempted theft of the vehicle in the driveway of a home in the 90 block of Kleber Avenue.

Theft: A wallet and contents and a class ring were stolen from a vehicle at a home in the 90 block of Kleber Avenue.

Theft: A woman’s wallet with an Ohio license and a Social Security card were stolen from a home in the 5000 block of Norquest Boulevard.

Burglary: A bicycle was taken from an open garage at a home in the 3000 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Menacing: A man reported he was leaving the parking lot in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive when three men jumped on his car and began pounding on it, trying to stop him from leaving.

June 19

Burglary: Two men were arrested in a burglary at State Route 46 and Webb Road.

Burglary: Money and a flat screen television were taken from a home in the 4000 block of Lanterman Road.

Breaking and entering: The Shell gas station, 1704 S. Raccoon Road was broken into, and the safe was taken.

Drug offense: An Austintown woman was arrested and found in possession of pills in the 3000 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Criminal damaging: Playground equipment was damaged at Lynn Kirk Elementary, 4211 Evelyn Road.

Theft: An employee was short-changed at the Pit-Stop, 1744 S. Raccoon Road.

Fraud: A man and an unidentified woman were attempting to cash checks on a closed account of a deceased individual at Chase Bank, 4243 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A purse and contents were stolen at a home in the 700 block of N. Four Mile Run Road.

June 20

Disorderly conduct: A man was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct in the 1200 block of N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Disorderly conduct: A man was arrested for disorderly conduct at the Ice House Inn, 5516 W. Webb Road.

Theft: A Sony camera, Camcorder, and an Apple laptop were stolen from an auto at Jeswald’s, 6528 Mahoning Ave.

Bad checks: Two bad checks for a total of $2,775 were written by a man at Komara Jewelers, 3649 Canfield Road.

Auto theft: A 1999 Chevrolet Suburban was stolen from a home in the 100 block of S. Navarre Avenue.

Theft: Police arrested a woman in a theft at Payless Shoe Source, 6000 Mahoning Avenue.

June 21

Drug offense: A 16-year-old Youngstown male was arrested for a curfew violation and possession of marijuana in a vehicle at Carnegie Avenue and N. Four Mile Run Road. The case will go to the Juvenile Justice Center.

Theft: A Galaxy CB radio was stolen from an auto at Penske Trucking, 350 Victoria Road.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was scratched at a home in the 1000 block of Paisley Street.

Disorderly conduct: A man was arrested for disorderly conduct at a home in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Boulevard.
